MICROAREA AND MICROSOFT TEAM UP FOR THE JOINT DISTRIBUTION OF MAGO.NET AND OFFICE 2003

3 April 2006 by press

A series of road shows has been organized to illustrate the Channel the high potential of this “bundle”: in Milan (4-7 April), Padua (6 April) and Rome (10 – 12 April).

The bond between Microarea and Microsoft is further strengthened thanks to an agreement that lets the IT Channel offer the SMB market a bundled product: Mago.net, Microarea’s ERP platform, and Office 2003.

The technological possibilities offered by Mago.net’s Magic Document module, “emblematic” of the integration between the Microarea ERP suite and Microsoft Office, is at the base of this initiative.

In fact, Magic Documents lets you simply create interfaces in Word and Excel documents able to interact with management data. This opens the doors to greater ERP platform use throughout the office, providing easily and readily accessible essential data to staff members who do not normally use the program.

Practical demonstrations will be provided on this innovative integration during the road show.
From the sales standpoint, the partner’s program, business opportunities, training courses, marketing support and incentives will all be illustrated.

The road show, scheduled for April 4, 6 and 12 dedicated to the Microsoft channel and April 7 and 10 for the Microarea one, provides the two companies with way to mutually introduce themselves and form new partnership relations.

Microsoft distributors can thus become Microarea partners while Microarea partners will be given the opportunity to become new Microsoft points.

A Webcast has also been set up for those who can’t make the event.

3 March 2006 by press

Mago.net’s presence on Eastern European markets grows: the solution will soon be available in Serbia and will be distributed by Breza Software Engineering, software house chosen by Microarea for platform localization and to build the new Channel of authorized dealers.

To enter Serbia, with a quality management solution and pursuing the business model successfully experimented in Hungary, Switzerland, Poland, Romania, Greece and Slovenia - these are the focal points of the recent distribution agreement between Microarea and Breza Software Engineering for the distribution of Mago.net in Serbia.

In business since 1989, Breza Software Engineering is an important software house, conceived by Zoran Marjanovic, current assistant dean of the University of Belgrade Organization science department.

Breza Software Engineering chose Mago.net to meet the growing IT development needs of Serbian SMB with a complete solution based on innovative technologies, able to effectively increase business user performance.

Following this agreement, making Breza Software Engineering the exclusive Mago.net distributor in Serbia, the various project stages have been sketched out with Microarea to achieve product localization and the organization of a new Channel of authorized dealers. The adopted business model follows in the footsteps of the Italian one, already used for other European nations and considered best for Serbia, a country in strong recovery where 200,000 potential Mago.net customers do business.

“We believe Mago.net is a valid ERP solution for small and medium-sized businesses, ensuring truly high-level performance and, compared to platforms designed for large corporations, is easier to use and requires investments truly within the reach of our targeted businesses”, commented Sanja Lujic, CEO Breza Software Engineering. “We are extremely satisfied with this new partnership that boosts and enhances our position in Eastern Europe. Serbia is expanding economically after an extremely difficult period, and Mago.net could just be the tool that helps Serbian businesses to regain competitiveness and efficiency", stated Enrico Itri, CEO Microarea.
